Jerk Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 1½ Tablespoon onion powder

  • 1½ Tablespoon garlic powder

  • 2 Tsp thyme

  • ½ Tbsp black pepper

  • 1 Tbsp parsley

  • 1 Tsp cinnamon

  • ½ Tsp ground ginger (optional)

  • ½ tablespoon ground allspice

  • 1 Tablespoon smoked paprika

  • ½ Tablespoon ground nutmeg

  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar (I use coconut sugar)

  • 2 Tsp bouillon powder

  • 2 Tablespoon cayenne pepper

  • 1 Tsp salt Start with 1 tsp. Add more if needed.

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients.

Tips

  • If you don’t like spicy things, omit the cayenne pepper.

  • If smokey isn’t your jam, use sweet paprika instead.
